On October 13, 2005 The Learning Channel premiered the first episode of Dead Tenants, a true-life show about the Preternatural Research Society.
The members of the PRS were filmed as they worked on weekend-long invstigations throughout NJ and NY. It was an amazing (and tiring!) experience, but after months and months of filming, the ten episode series was finally done!
TLC aired the first 5 episodes in the US at the end of 2005, and as of yet have not decided to release the remaining 5 on television. However, the series has also run succesfully in countries such as: Turkey, Romania, Canada, SOuth Africa, India, and many more. Hardly what we were expecting when we started this group up years ago!
Although the show posed many challenges to how we normally work as a team, we were nonetheless able to produce some really great evidence for the network. Some of it can eb seen through the links below. The show did not always portray us properly, and there were many editing concerns on our parts; yet we all know that this is the problem of trying to portray real-life on a television school. Even though, we are very proud of the series, and still are awed by the thought that we have been able to educate and entertain such diverse groups of people around the globe.
A special thank-you to all of the special families that we met during our travels. We remember and miss each and every one of you, even the "skeptics!"
